So I thought about doing something clever for April fools But, I quickly realized that my creative juices have been used up for the week and I came up with nothing so no April fools jokes here- however if you think about it Googles +1 might have been an April fools joke released two days early

What is Googles +1- well its Googles attempt to make search results more relevant.

You can read more here ==> Googles +1

First of all, the name is dumb but even once I get past that- and although its not completely fully function yet- the tests that I ran yesterday dont excite me.

The REAL problem I see here is if my network is going to influence me because I see that a good friend of mine +1ed something the only way I am going to see that is IF I am logged into Google and IF I can connected to them via Google. Right now I only have 7 contacts according to Google clearly I have a log way to go. But am I the only one? I dont think so- we are connecting on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social sites- but not Google. Googles buzz was a flop and unless they bring in your social circle from other social media sites, Im not sure how much of an impact this will have (yes, they are talking about bringing in Twitter now but even then, I think its Facebook you have to go after and I dont think that will happen). So we shall see, but at the moment- Im not excited or worried.

Next week expect your alerts to be a whole lot wiser as I turn a year older on Monday. Ok, so they wont be, but I hope you enjoy them just the same! :)

Have a great weekend and enjoy this weeks alerts!

“It’s always scary changing your website even when you know you need an update. Lots of times you feel like you are on an island and the people developing your website could care less if they respond to your concerns or not. Not only did Lindsay and her staff stay in constant contact with me through the entire process, they responded immediately to each question, and improved on my own ideas for the site. They thought of things that I would have never considered and have also taken my haphazard social media postings and formed a consistent strategy that is sure to blow the doors off anything I have done before. I feel like I have gotten many times over my money’s worth already. Thanks Lindsay and team!” -Dr. Chris Griffin, Ripley, MS, The Capacity Academy

“Thanks a lot for such a good work. Probably for you it was something that you just do all the time, but after I had so many unfortunate dealings with three of your predecessors and never felt quite satisfied, I can really appreciate and thank you for what you are doing with my new site.” -Jose Gomez

kesseaIn the 14 years Ive owned businesses, Ive worked with several IT and web designers. Never has the process been as easy and seamless as it has with CelebritySites. Not once have I entered into a new technology relationship without the fear similar to that of when an entrepenuer makes the dreaded decision to change their phone company; that panic that lives deep down inside that can only grow from past experience. Im ecstatic to say, we have already moved far beyond any other company Ive worked with at this stage of the game. My only regret, I didnt make this commitment sooner; saving myself a lot of time, stress, and lets be honest- money! Thank you Lindsay for all your support, your passion, and your investment in me. -Kessea Moses AKA: Master Bobby Splinters Mutant Ninja Turtle
