Back in Orlando from a fabulous trip to LA! Ahhh, I always forget how much I love it there until I go back. We had a fabulous time and the shooting our America’s PremierExperts show for our second Celebrity Branding Experience went great.

There was a lot going on last week in the world of SEO and SMM, including Google’s real-time search results, and Facebook’s Fan Page updates being included in them!

Getting Found in Google’s Real-Time Search Results
This article is one of my favorites from this week because by “another SEO consultant” he meant me! :) This is one of the coolest things I have seen from Google in a while, and shows where search is headed. If you read nothing else, read this article to see where search is headed. And by sure it check it out for yourself, it really is very cool!

ROI: How to Measure Return on Investment in Social Media
There is a business behind social media, and this article by Brian Solis does a great job of showing you the different measurements for SMM (it’s not just ROI any more). Check it out!

Google Analytics for Facebook Fan Pages
Google Analytics on your Fan Page? Yep! There is now a way to track referrals, visitors, etc. Check it out!
“…The workaround we use in our code is to include Google Analytics as an image instead of setting the standard Javascript. This method tracks every visitor to the custom facebook pages on Google Analytics. It required a combination of server side cookie management and an additional tag to the bottom of the facebook fan page. Google Adds Facebook’s Fan Page Updates to Real-Time Search
If you do not have one already, all the more reason to have a Facebook fan page…
“… Google said it would be adding public updates from Facebook Pages, last December, and now the integration is live within its real-time search updates, the company says, although we’re not seeing anything yet.
